ABOUT ME
Meet Me 😄
Hi, all!
I'm Ms. Alexander and I have worked in education for the past eight years as a Teacher, Dean of Students, and Coach. I am passionate about creating a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for diverse learners.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government- Legal Studies from Texas Woman’s University, a Master of Science degree in Educational Psychology from Purdue University, and am currently completing a Master of Science degree in Education- Adolescence Students with Disabilities degree from Adelphi University.
When I'm not teaching English Literature or Reading, I am actively coaching volleyball and basketball. As an educator, one of my core goals is to inspire a love of learning in all students and help them reach their full potential.
My Philosophy
As a teacher dedicated to the success and well-being of students with disabilities in my English classroom, my philosophy revolves around creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment that fosters academic growth, self-confidence, and a lifelong love for learning. I firmly believe in the potential of every student, and it is my mission to provide tailored instruction that addresses their unique needs and empowers them to overcome challenges.
