Dr. David Maier

David is Maseeh Professor of Emerging Technologies in the department of Computer Science at Portland State University. He is also the author of a number of books and papers covering everything from relational databases and logic programming to database theory, object-oriented technology, and scientific databases.

Erika Fogarty

As Director of Brand for the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, Erika develops experiential campaigns and digital content for Science, Education, and Community programs. Erika is also the co-founder of Talk A Mile: an organization that facilitates 1:1 conversations between Black youth and police trainees as they share their visions of their communities.

Dr. Rebekah Elliott

Rebekah is a learning scientist, teacher educator, and associate professor at Oregon State University.  For the past 20 years, she has researched mathematics teacher and leader professional learning, resulting in numerous publications, presentations, and support from federal, state, and private foundations and agencies. She collaborates with Oregon policymakers and teacher leaders to create a more equitable and just educational system, and was a former high school mathematics teacher.

Jason Mendenhall

Jason serves as Chief Executive Officer of The Math Learning Center and president of Maier Math Foundation. A seasoned leader, he is dedicated to expanding the mission and market impact of educational organizations bringing expertise in instruction, assessment, curriculum, professional learning, hardware, and research aspects of teaching and learning. He began his career as a high school teacher and coach, and remains deeply passionate about supporting learners worldwide.
