Welcoming the New Year

By: Madi Adkins

2018 was without a doubt an eventful year. Whether it was a good or bad year for you, that's for you to decide. Now that it is over, it could very well give you an excuse to begin to do something you’ve wanted to do. 2019 is a new year, and you should allow yourself to accept new mentalities.

Many people celebrate the new year by making resolutions and trying to keep those resolutions. Whether you want to lose weight, gain weight, love yourself more, or just in general be more positive, it can be difficult but not impossible. A few ways to stay motivated could be to keep a bullet journal, and mark your progress, or you could make a vision board, which would display all of your future goals to make sure you don’t forget what outcome you would like in your life. If you fall through with these plans, no fear! It’s okay to try again even if you feel like you’ve failed. There are so many different resolutions you could make for this year.
