Long Live The King

The king of Redania, King Radovid lived in Novigrad for most of his life. Redania is a realm that is often regarded as very prosperous in terms of trade and agriculture. The capital of the city is located in Tretoger, Oxenfurt. He was crowned king in the Redanian dynasty, in the last quarter of the thirteenth century. Most of his defining factors post war time included the mass murders and killings of the witch trials. Even though his father died in 1267, Prince Radovid didn't succeed him immediately because he was only twelve at the time and for several years the kingdom was governed by a Regency Council under influential Duke Nitert and CountSigismund Dijkstra, the-then spymaster of Redanian Secret Service.

Redanian rule is most of the time referred to as an overruling reign, but can be remembered for properly guarding the great city of Novigrad and Oxenfurt with arms. Novigrad being the Northern Realms capital, it required the protection a king would need. Although King Radovid would then be assassinated by unknown men in Novigrad, his reign still reminices in the cool Northern air. The term "Long Live Radovid" still is heard throughout the northern realm. Novigrad is regarded as the most popular Redanian home where the army is held.
