Overarching Goals

Engage All- Staff Professional Development Day (full-day workshop)

Ignite school staff to design innovative ways to involve community and family partners to support student learning and sustained magnet goals
Reflect and analyze core beliefs surrounding family and community engagement
Engage in research-based learning about family and community engagement and its impact in improving student outcomes
Design, develop and plan to reimagine family and community engagement at your school
Prepare for a culminating event using storytelling techniques and visual evidence to showcase and celebrate the magnet school journey in alignment with the MSA Pillars
Begin to design a sustainable family and community engagement on-boarding process for new relationship-building and/or (re)imagine an event to deepen the relationships between family and community partners

Engage All- Impact and Innovate Culminating Event (2-3 hour workshop to follow full-day Staff Professional Development Day)

Involve and engage key champions from the greater school community to celebrate the transformative magnet work thus far in the school’s magnet journey
Showcase and celebrate the school’s A to E Team’s work and learning with the greater school community

- - Design, develop and plan an event reimagine family and community engagement at your school

Lunch (11:30am - 12:00pm)

Session 3 (12:00pm - 1:35pm)

Enact - Prepare for a culminating event using storytelling techniques and visual evidence to showcase and celebrate the magnet school journey in alignment with the MSA Pillars
- - Design a presentation to share during the community portion of the Engage All workshop. Objective - to showcase and celebrate the magnet school journey in alignment with the MSA Pillars and Standards of Excellence.

Session 4 (1:45pm - 3:00pm)

Ideate, Envision, Enact
- - Begin to design a sustainable family and community engagement on-boarding process for new relationship-building and/or (re)imagine an event to deepen the relationships between family and community partners or Collaborate and Dream Big to begin to design a Year Long Road Map of your Family and Community Partnership Activities for school year 2021-22
