have contributed to a range of marine education and environmental outreach projects, including European LIFE initiatives such as LIFE ECOREST, LIFE IP INTEMARES, and LIFE A-MAR NATURA 2000. My work has involved developing educational materials and resources for different audiences, preparing teacher guides and training sessions, and designing and delivering workshops and educational activities in schools. I have also contributed to learning activities, guided visits, and public outreach initiatives focused on marine biodiversity, marine protected areas, ecosystem restoration, and ocean conservation, helping bring marine science into educational settings and closer to society.
Although the ocean plays a fundamental role in our planet’s health, marine topics are often underrepresented in formal education. I aim to help bridge this gap by translating scientific knowledge into accessible, hands-on activities that spark curiosity, encourage critical thinking, and foster a deeper connection with the marine environment. From classrooms to coastal ecosystems, I believe that learning about the ocean is an essential step towards understanding, appreciating, and protecting it.
