Given to us by the General Chapter of the Society of the Missionaries of Africa, our mission is one of healing.
The Missionaries of Africa is a Catholic missionary society founded by the Cardinal Charles Lavigerie in 1868 in Algeria for the evangelisation of Africa and special attention to muslin men and women.
The first and most important dimension of our mission at Bethany Centre is to care for priests and religious men and women who are struggling with difficulties in their personal life and ministry.
The second dimension is to bring to them a care that addresses the person with an integral approach (psyche, soul and body).
Finally, the most important dimension is to help them to return to their vocation and ministry stronger, better equipped, and at peace with themselves and their own history.
