About Me

Mr. David Londrey

In the spring of 2006 I had the privilege of being able to visit Madison County when my Virginia Tech baseball team had to stay the weekend in Madison while playing a weekend series against our in state rivals UVa. After that weekend I knew that I needed to move to Madison, and a couple weeks after graduating, and my baseball season coming to an end, I did move to Madison and have been here ever since.

In 2009 I decided to go for a trail ride with about 20 of my friends, and we started outside of El Paso, Texas at the Mexican boarder and headed north until we reached Canada. The ride took us just over five months to complete, and I got to see some of the most amazing parts of our country. Needless to say, it was the ride of a lifetime.

I have now been married to my wife for 9 years and we have identical twin girls, who are 6 years old, and a boy who is 2 years old. This is my 5th year teaching at Wetsel Middle School and I am thrilled to be teaching in my community. I believe that learning should be fun and I push my students to think for themselves and believe in themselves.
