- GRADUATION PRACTICE: FRIDAY, MAY 16
Graduation practice is MANDATORY for all graduates to participate in the graduation ceremony and will take place the morning of May 16, following Senior Clearance. We will walk through graduation several times to ensure everyone knows what they need to do on graduation day.
A picnic lunch for seniors will follow practice.
DRESSCODE FOR GRADUATES:
Graduates are required to wear dress clothes under their graduation gowns. This includes dress pants, a collared shirt with a tie, blouse, dress, skirt and blouse, and dress shoes.
Please be mindful of the weather when deciding what to wear, given we will be out in the stadium.
Regarding shoes, while dress shoes are required (no work boots or rubber flip flops) graduates will be processing from the back of the high school down into the stadium. It is recommended that shoes be work that are comfortable for such a walk and that are not slick on the bottom. If you plan to wear new shoes, please take a few minutes to scuff up the bottoms/soles to avoid slipping as you walk across the stage to accept your diploma.
