Reading

This year we will be using a Balanced Literacy Approach. Students will engage in a Reading Workshop where they will be reading a variety of novels and participating in book clubs and book partnerships. Students will have multiple opportunities throughout the workshop to read independently, write about their reading, and discuss their reading while applying grade-level skills.
