My name is Rachel Lemon and I am a passionate educator! I love everything about the intricate elementary teaching and learning process. I feel lucky and honored to be able to create a safe, comfortable, and engaging learning environment for my students each and every day.

I grew up right here in Madison, NJ, and I actually attended Torey J. when I was little! I graduated from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA in 2007 with a dual degree in Psychology and Dance. After working as an Event Marketing Representative for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for three years, I attended the University of Michigan ELMAC (Elementary Masters and Teaching Certification) program, and graduated in 2011. I extended my graduate study to include an endorsement in teaching English as a Second Language. 

This is my fifth year teaching at Torey J.! I taught grades K-2 for six years in Michigan. I absolutely love being a teacher - I think it is the most rewarding career!
