Class Birthdays

We can't wait to celebrate your child's special day in school! 

Please contact me a few days prior to your child's birthday to arrange a celebration. If your child has a summer birthday, we will celebrate them in June! You and your child can choose an option below:

• A family member can read a book to the class as a "birthday reader."  Pick your favorite book from home, or I can help you pick from our classroom library. 

• The whole class can enjoy extra recess.

Your child will also be the "Star Student' for the whole day! In addition to getting a birthday crown and sticker, they will be our line leader, movement break chooser, teacher helper, etc.! 

Please note, as per TJS school guidelines, birthday celebrations should be limited to 15 minutes, and siblings and extended family members are discouraged from attending. No food or goodie bags are permitted.
