Brief Overview:

1.  New curriculum continues: the Reading and Writing Workshop Model from 6th grade. The first unit is Historical Fiction.

2.  Focus: on the theme of independence & self-advocacy in seventh grade.

3.  Partnership: support in reading at home. Students should be reading at least 20 minutes a night.
