McGraw Hill Reveal Math Student Edition: This will be your primary textbook, guiding you through the mathematical concepts for each lesson.

McGraw Hill Reveal Math Online Platform: This web-based resource provides module lessons, interactive activities, additional practice problems, and video tutorials that align with each lesson. 7th grade will also utilize the online platform for homework and/or assessments.

Arizona 8th Grade Math Standards

In additional to the Reveal math curriculum, we will also be using ALEKS, an adaptive learning platform by McGraw Hill.

What is ALEKS? ALEKS is an adaptive math program that provides each student with a personalized learning path. Using engaging answer tools, immediate feedback, and automatic assessments, ALEKS helps students review and master the skills needed to be successful in their math class. 

This program personalizes the learning experience and we will be using it strategically throughout the year.  We'll dedicate class time in addition to at home assignments to ALEKS, with the goal of completing your grade-level learning path by the end of each semester.

Semester 1: ALEKS will reinforce your student's previous year's math skills from Reveal Math Course 2, building a strong foundation for our advanced curriculum. These are the same standards students will be tested on by state and district assessments.

Semester 2: ALEKS will shift gears and focus on the current standards you're being taught in class from Reveal Math Course 3. This will provide ongoing reinforcement throughout the year to solidify your understanding of the advanced curriculum.
