Introduction of Courses

Writing - Students will learn how to write creative pieces with clear beginning, middle, and ends including: letters, opinion pieces, persuasive pieces, narratives, and more!

Reading - In reading this year we will be using our Wonder's curriculum to focus on the different genres of books as well as main points. Some things we will be learning in reading: main idea, key details, main character, cause & effect, problem & solution, and sequencing of events.

Grammar - Grammar will focus on the different phonics sounds, blends, and digraphs as found in our Wonder's curriculum.

Math - Math will be following our My Math curriculum. Students will be learning aspects such as: geometry, addition, subtraction, double digit addition & subtraction, 3 digit addition & subtraction, problem solving, word problems, and much more!

Science - We follow along with our Science kits beginning with the study of rocks and the Earth, geology.

Social Studies - Our social studies curriculum helps our students travel through time to explore the world. Students will learn about past, present, and future communities as well as migration and more!
