Taking action is a key part of our Primary Years Program. Students can take action in many ways. Action is a great way to show learning.
Doing: Taking action by doing something (example: turning off lights or turning off the water while brushing teeth after a unit on resources).
Being: Using new learning to change behaviors (example: being more patient, being more respectful, acting principled or balanced).
Think: Changing your mind based on new learning, learning more, wondering about a topic related to learning, and/or taking the initiative to inquire about a related topic.
Saying: Informing others about new information or learning, explaining ideas to others, and/or asking questions about current topics and learning
