Kindergarten Day

Madison Simis offers both full-day and half-day options. We are a full-day Kindergarten class. Included in our full-day curriculum and schedule are literacy, math, writing, science, social studies and specials. In the afternoon, students are grouped for additional literacy instruction according to their academic needs. Those who are currently meeting grade-level benchmarks are placed into an enriched group and those requiring additional support in literacy receive the appropriate interventions.

Students rotate daily between Art, Music, Physical Education, Spanish and Technology Skills classes. The International Baccalaureate program and framework is woven throughout our state mandated curriculum.

As we move through the curriculum and the school year, we will be developing student's critical thinking and social-emotional skills.
