Mrs. Beckett 2025-2026

Hi! My name is Michelle Beckett and I am thrilled to be your child's teacher. This is my sixth year teaching at Simis and my 18th year teaching overall. I am a Madison alumni and went to Rose Lane and Madison #1. I am a 3rd generation University of Arizona graduate where I received my degree in Elementary Education. I went to the University of Texas Austin to earn my Master’s Degree in Education. In the following years I earned my Early Childhood Endorsement, Reading Specialist Endorsement and ESL Endorsement.

I took a break from teaching to raise our family. I have two sons, Greyson, 17 and Tobin, 15. They both went to Simis and are now attend Sunnyslope High School. I have been married for almost 20 years to my husband Justin, who is a talented chef. We have an adorable rescue dog named Biscuit. In my spare time I love to read, work on house projects and travel. I look forward to an amazing year of learning with your children.
