Electroencephalograph (EEG)

An electroencephalograph is a test to look at electrical activity in the brain using electrodes that are attached to the scalp. An EEG plays an important role at the VPlab because it is a part of the Brain-computer interface and is the connection between the broken links of the brain and skeletal muscles. When one has suffered from a major stroke a block can appear cutting off communication between the neurons in the brain and the muscles, meaning that when the brain tries to activate a muscle that will no longer work.
