Madison City Fifth Grade Honor Chorus
Madison City Honor Chorus was established in 2015 as a means to provide higher-level choral experiences for fifth-grade students across the city of Madison. The chorus is organized and directed by the Madison City elementary music educators: Mrs. Audra Loftin, Mrs. Kristina Stundtner, Mrs. Traci Stewart, and Mrs. Cherilyn Pryor. The chorus annually performs with the Bob Jones and James Clemens high school choirs and at other community events. Many students who participate go on to have successful endeavors in the middle, high school, and college musical activities like choir and band. In order to join, students must go through an informal audition process. Every fifth-grade student in Madison is eligible! If you or your child would like to participate, details regarding dates, times, locations, and expectations for auditions information will be coming from your school's music teacher in January.
