Combining elements of Science Fiction, Fantasy, and an old-fashioned Coming of Age story, A Wrinkle in Time is the story of middle schooler Meg Murry and her universe-spanning quest to save her father after a secret NASA mission leaves him lost somewhere out in space. With her extraordinary brother, Charles Wallace, and a neighborhood boy called Calvin, Meg must face down the darkness she finds in the world and in herself with little more than her wits and the kind advice of three mystery women from beyond the stars.
