A groundbreaking career development program!

MCHS Youth Services Center and Ignite (North) have teamed up to implement a groundbreaking career development program. This program is for students with moderate to severe disabilities.  Students in this program run a simulated retail store that supplies clothing items, shoes, backpacks, school supplies, and other goods from the Youth Services Center to our high school students.

Thus far, the simulated retail store is proving to be an excellent resource for MCHS students to access needed items.  Students running the simulated retail store gain key skills for future employment opportunities. All items are donated by the community or provided by MCHS Youth Services Center. All items distributed are at no cost to the students and families needing services.
