AVID at Toki

Toki Middle School proudly implemented the AVID program for the first time during the 2012-2013 school year and we are now an Emerging Schoolwide AVID site. We have two sections of AVID (7th and 8th grade) and both are working hard to prepare students for high school and beyond. These classes mirror the AVID courses already being offered at all of the high schools in the Madison Metropolitan School District.

Additionally, many teachers at Toki use AVID WICOR strategies in their classrooms (see image at right). Our Toki AVID site team and AVID students collaborate to engage all Toki students in AVID's proven strategies for success!
