Program Description
Crowns and Culture is a club that will focus on teaching high school students how to wash, condition, moisturize, maintain, and braid their hair. A big part of what will be taught is the history of braiding, how to braid, the options of how to monetize braiding, and more. As student learns, we will be opening up space for hair models to come in to get their hair done as well. This club is aimed to provide space for our black students and to meet the essential need of haircare. Hair is important and plays a huge part in an individual's confidence! Come get your crowns taken care of.
