Students can participate in any or all of the day trips listed below.  Participants need transportation to/from the program site unless specified.  

Sailing with UW Hoofers

Overnight camping trips schedule:

These trips are an introduction to tent camping and will include instruction on tent setup, fire building, Leave No Trace, and camp cooking.  

Students are not required to have any camping experience and all equipment is provided by MSCR. Trips are led by experienced MSCR Outdoor Programs staff.

Climbing & orienteering at Madison School Forest

depart Tuesday, July 28th at 4:30pm from MSCR Central

return Wednesday, July 29th by 3:45pm to MSCR Central

Backpacking in Southern Kettle Moraine Unit

depart Tuesday, August 4th at 1pm from MSCR Central

return Thursday, August 6th by 1:30pm to MSCR Central

• Transportation provided from MSCR Central & back

Eligibility requirement for camping trips:

• Students must be available for the full scheduled time  

• Students must have participated in at least two previous OAC outings
