Enrollment Info
MMSD Enrollment Times - 2020-2021
Monday, August 10, begins the enrollment process online for MMSD. You may use this link to enroll your child as a Franklin-Randall student. There are no additional enrollment steps to take other than to complete the virtual enrollment, unless your family has moved. If your family has moved, you will be required to verify your address change. This can be done by emailing our secretary, Diane Kopan, a picture of your MG&E bill or your lease. If you have any questions about this process, please contact Diane (dkopan@madison.k12.wi.us). She can assist you as needed in completing the process.
PAPERLESS ENROLLMENT PROCEDURES
If your child is continuing from one grade to the next, including 4K and 5K who registered prior to August 1, and has no changes to key information, you will do the following:
Verify the student's current information in the online enrollment application.
Acknowledge the list of disclosures and permissions.
You will not be prompted to print a signature page, unless you have a new address, the student's Date of Birth (DOB) and/or your current address have not been verified yet.
If you have items that need to be verified:
The online application will prompt you to print verification to take to school for enrollment completion.
The $3.00 convenience fee is waived for families who complete the online application and pay their fees early, between August 2 and August 15. The school fees will still apply and need to be collected.
Enrollment for brand new students to the district is not paperless; MMSD will continue to require that new students' guardians and new adult students:
Complete an online enrollment application
Print a signature page and sign it
Take the signature page with the verification documents (DOB certificate and copy of lease, mortgage statement, or MGE statement) to your school.
