The Brown Bookshelf put on a Kid Lit Rally for Black Lives that ran live on June 4, 2020 and was recorded so you can view it. The rally includes authors of books for children and young adults reading pieces they wrote, sharing their thoughts, speaking to children, and speaking to adults. It is a powerful rally to watch in full. The first part is geared for children and young adults, and at the 1:11 mark the focus changes to speaking to parents, librarians, educators, and professionals.
