Meet the Teacher

Welcome to 4th Grade!

My name is Emily Aron and I am looking forward to a great year with your 4th grader! The 2021-2022 school year is my fourth year of teaching, and my second year here at HGES. Previously, I taught 5th grade in Illinois.

A proud Spartan alumna, I graduated from Michigan State University in May 2017. I hold certifications in Elementary Education, English Language Arts, Math, and English for Speakers of Other Languages. I am also a Google for Education Level 1 Certified Educator. In August 2021, I earned my Master of Arts degree in Education, with a concentration in Technology and Learning through Michigan State University.

I look forward to supporting your child's academic and social-emotional growth in 4th grade. I have a passion for learning and my goal is to encourage students to realize how important and powerful knowledge is in their lives.
