Math Resources

Many of the resources are also available on your student's Clever page. Some resources require logging in through their school Google or Clever account.

On Khan Academy, students can search for a math topic. The website will then show exercises, videos, and articles relating to the topic. Students can use the website without an account, but their progress will be saved if they do create an account.

Math is Fun provides informational pages about many math topics, games, puzzles, and worksheets. There are also Math Trainers for addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division to build fact fluency.

The NUMBEROCK website has catchy, informative songs about math. The videos can be sorted by topic (arithmetic, fractions, geometry, measurement, and data and graphs) and/or by grade level.

Students play as an avatar through many realms as they complete different math tasks. When joined on a class account, they can interact with classmates' avatars. Prodigy covers many math concepts.

The Math Learning Center website provides several helpful visual models for common math topics. The models include fractions, geoboard, telling time, number frames, number line, number pieces, number rack, pattern shapes, and money. Students can use these models to explore a topic and/or to support their understanding on related homework.

XtraMath is used for building basic math facts fluency. Students do a session before math class several times a week. They work through the different operations while being timed. Students can practice XtraMath at home - they will need an enrollment code to log in at home. Please contact me if you would like their enrollment code for at-home access.
