Martha, a Mexican-American student has earned her school’s scholarship jacket. When prejudice threatens the honor she has rightfully earned, Martha must stand up for what is right even though the risk she takes makes her both uncomfortable and scared. In the end, due to her confrontation of the school’s prejudice, she wins her beloved jacket.
