Student Technology Showcase at the Capitol

EVENT UPDATE: COVID-19 delayed the annual event in December 2020.

We are currently working to host the Student Technology Showcase (STS) at The Capitol early next school year (2021/22).

The showcase is a day-long event (each team will be there for 2 hours) held in the Michigan State Capitol Building to allow lawmakers, business leaders and other citizens to see first-hand how technology is used in classroom across Michigan.

K-12 student teams representing their schools from around the state demonstrate best practices of how technology can enhance teaching and learning for the success of Michigan students. Each team consists of up to 4 students and 1 mentor.

The event is sponsored by AT&T Foundation and the Michigan Association for Computer Users in Learning (MACUL).

The event is at the Michigan Capitol Building at 100 N Capitol, Ave, Lansing, MI 48933. It's in the rotunda of the second floor.

You may park in the parking structure at 219 N. Grand Ave. (The corner of Ottawa and N. Grand.) You can download a Lansing Capitol Complex map (pdf) with details. (The unloading area is shown with an arrow.)

Bus Parking is at the corner of Butler and Kalamazoo near the Michigan Historical Museum.
