I drew an Australian heritage building. I looked at a reference image to see the style of the architecture. I then used fine- and broad-tipped Artline pens to create light and dark shadows that give contrast and balance to the picture. I used vertical, horizontal, diagonal and contour lines, as well as scribbling and crosshatching techniques on watercolour paper. It looks like a grocery store on the ground floor and the dwelling on top.
