I drew the front view of Parliament House. I was fascinated by the architecture of this building. I used a reference image and used fine- and broad-tipped Artline pens and a black marker pen to create this picture. We studied different types of lines (horizontal, vertical and contour lines), stippling and scribbling techniques, and how to reinforce lines to create dark shades. I think working with black and white is visually effective and soothing.
