Losing my brother to cancer last year truly changed my perspective. When developing my topic, I was set on finding a one-word answer to describe this feeling. My topic became subjective to the overwhelming emotions I had towards this loss of, in my eyes, an undeniably heroic character. The word I discovered was ‘ephemeral’ – a term often used to describe something that is fleeting or only lasting for a short period of time.
