In my work Solitude, I have explored the relationship between private moments and reflective surfaces. Through the use of mixed media on watercolour paper, my suite of paintings depict cropped snapshots into private and authentic moments of my life. Through an illustrative and decorative style, my intention was to imbue the work with the meanings and messages of perfectionism, self-reflection and disconnection.
