I explored perspective and perception in personal growth, and the impact this has on how we view experiences. This work challenges the idea of what is ‘valuable’ - a seemingly useless plastic material, bubble wrap, is transformed by injecting acrylic paint into each cell to form a bigger picture. The work depicts me as a young child, symbolising youth and naivety, and the impact negative external influences, like toxic relationships, can have on young people.
