Our lower school PE students had an amazing Spring in PE! From running the fun run course to practicing their taekwondo with sensei Keegan, there were lots of smiles to be had. The semester ended with our annual Field Day stations on Thursday, May 14th. New this year was the addition of an Avid 4 Adventure Rock Wall and the kids loved it! Some other highlights this spring were soccer games, tag games, cooperative challenges as well as track and field events. I hope these amazing kiddos have a great summer!
Our Middle School students have been working hard in Physical Education! I really enjoyed having my elective class this quarter. Students engaged in a kickball unit, a flag football unit, and a kickball unit. The games were spirited and the students were all such great teammates. In regular PE, we engaged in various games and activities, such as capture the flag, volleyball, taekwondo lessons and much more. The quarter ended with our annual Field Day stations on Thursday, May 14th. The students were engaged and happy as they moved around campus on this festive day. Sadly, the 8th graders defeated the Faculty in the annual kickball game, 11-7. There's always next year! Have a happy, safe and active summer!
