Dr. Kristine Peace also provides a variety of forensic consultations through her company KAP Forensic Services, including legal case consultations, evidence reviews, and testimony, as well as new services for police/legal professionals/community forensic organizations involving stalking (criminal harassment) assessment.
(1) Preliminary Consultations: Dr. Peace is available to conduct preliminary reviews and assessments (telephone, virtual, or in-person) of relevant issues disclosed within the case or legal documentation. These consultations are preliminary in nature, and if requested, will be supported by a brief written summary and disclaimer.
(2) Forensic Examination, Analysis, & Report: Dr. Peace will also conduct detailed forensic examination and analyses of legal case materials submitted, often including transcripts, interviews, videos, notes, etc. This type of engagement may involve interviews and psychological assessments of clients, scoring and interpretation of testing, literature reviews, technical reviews of opposing experts, and commentary upon issues of concern in the case. These services also include preparation of a detailed forensic assessment report which will be supported with expert testimony, if required.
(3) Stalking Risk Assessment & Recommendations: Dr. Peace received specialized training & certification in the assessment and management of stalking behaviours. This training included the Stalking Risk Profile (SRP; MacKenzie et al., 2009) measure, as well as the Screening Assessment for Stalking and Harassment (SASH; McEwan et al., 2010). Training was recently completed in February 2023, and Dr. Peace is now offering these services.
(4) Lectures, Presentations, Workshops: Dr. Peace is a capable and knowledgeable speaker, and is available for a variety of speaking engagements at your organization's conferences, seminars, or in-house meetings. These can be provided in virtual or in-person formats, and can include full or half-day workshops customized to the demographics of your audience.
