Agricultural education is comprised of three components, which are explained more in depth below.

1. Classroom/Laboratory - This component includes taking agricultural classes at school with the agricultural teacher (Mr. Johnson or I).

2. Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) - Each student chooses a project where they can learn through doing. They apply the skills that they are learning in the classroom and also gain employability skills. (More information can be found on the SAE tab.)

3. FFA - This is a leadership organization that is made up of contests, leadership development, service-learning, etc. Students become chapter members and participate at the local level.
