Macfest is an annual celebration of the work that Mac THDA students have done - whether that be acting, playwriting, or dancing. This year, three ten-minute plays will be presented via staged reading each night. Seats are first come, first served with no entry fee.
A Well Planned Out Scheme is a dark humor comedy following two scheming roommates, their best friend, and a third roommate who isn't quite in on the scheme. The plays follows these characters and their ensuing misunderstandings.

Young Amaryllis is going through one of the most exciting moments of her life. Her younger sister Gabriela should be born any time, and she can’t wait to finally see her. However, everyone except Amaryllis’ grandma is convinced that Amaryllis’ sister is actually a baby boy. Who is Gabriela? Will Amaryllis be able to prove her family wrong?

Angst and Entitlement is a humorous piece that explores the relationship between teenage daughter Jayden and her parents. As the audience, you are privilege to something Jayden’s parents aren’t: her internal monologue. Over the course of this show, you may come to find that every character is conceded enough to not realize their own entitlement, despite the fact that it is highlighted it in unmistakable ways.
