FALL 2022 COVID/MASKING POLICY:

IN-PERSON CLASSES

In order to protect the health of students, teachers and Olivet UCC church staff and congregants, and given the high transmissibility of the Omicron variants, the teachers of The Breathing Place are requiring the following Covid precautions of each teacher & student:

· primary vaccine series and 1 booster, with proof of vaccination sent via e’mail ahead of first in-person class, or brought-with on first day. If you are taking classes from more than one teacher, you must show this vaccination proof once for each teacher. There are no exceptions.

· All teachers and students will wear a well-fitting mask while inside the Olivet space. This includes during class.

· There are extra mats and blankets available in the space; however, we encourage students to bring your own.

· We ask that if you attend crowded outdoor events, or indoor events where there are unmasked people or it’s hard to practice physical distancing, please test before coming to class. Do not come if you have been in close contact with a person who has tested positive or if you yourself have any symptoms.

The teachers of The Breathing Place thank you for your co-operation as we care for each other in what we hope are the final phases of the SARS-COV2 pandemic. We will update this policy as needed, following best guidance of MN Dept. of Health and the CDC.
