ONBOARD TRAINING AWARD

The Department of Shipboard Training gives awards to well deserving cadet-students who proved their skills and proficiency while on onboard training. This includes oral and written assessment as well the reports and evaluation during onboard training. The DST Director deliberates on this award and submitted to the Academic Council for approval.

AWARD TITLE

1. The Department of Shipboard Award shall be known as “BEST IN SHIPBOARD TRAINING”. The said award shall be given to the cadet-students who meet the Department of Shipboard Training Criteria.

2. Both BSMT and BSMarE shall have one (1) awardee in Best in Shipboard Training

AWARD CRITERIA

1. The Shipboard Training awardees should have recorded PASSED Remark on his/her Assessment form and completed all necessary documents required for successful completion of Onboard Training.

2. The Shipboard Training awardees must have the highest accumulated Grade among all candidates for graduation of not less than 85% in combined grades from Written
