Background
Hi! My name is Shreya Banerjee. I am a junior and Marin Academy. Ever since I was a kid, I have found science interesting, wether it was creating crystals in 1st grade or using a petri dish for the first time. I am interested in the medicine aspect of science, specifically discovering therapies for various illnesses. I would love to be able to create a career in science where I can do drug discovery and hopefully help cure diseases that are impacting the lives of many people.
Personal:
Outside of my research, I am apart of the track team at Marin Academy. In my free time, I love to read books, spend time outside whether im at the beach or at Bolinas Ridge for sunset, and hangout with friends. I am a gymnastics coach and I love working with kids.
