CURRENT RESEARCH & WORK

For my MARC Research, I have chosen to focus on creating an affordable and durable prosthesis. To do this, I decided to construct my prosthesis primarily out of 3D-printed parts. Prostheses are used by many people in the country, and 3D printers are becoming more effective in industrial use. I hope to be able to make a prosthesis that is 3D printed with different materials. I am testing various filaments to determine which works best. Ultimately I hope to explore five materials: Carbon, ABS, HIPS, Nylon, and Flex filament. I will use the collected data to determine the best materials for my final product.
