Materials of Prosthetic Limbs California State Poly technic University, Pomona Mechanical Engineering Department
This is a Memorandum by Prof. Y. Gan written in 2017. They study at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona Mechanical Engineering Department in the
Materials Engineering department. It outlines a robotic hand that was built and the materials used to create it. This gave me a overview of how some materials interact. I hope to use some of their sources to help my research too.

Cyborg beast: a low-cost 3d-printed prosthetic hand for children with upper-limb differences
This article addressed my concern of customization in prosthesis. The different sizes from this paper show not too much of a difference. This will help with my material and cost evaluation. This also shows how to fit a person in need of a prosthetic and looks at attachment.

The Evolution of Upper Limb Prosthetic Socket Design
This article talked a-lot about materials used to mimic human emotions not only looking at the frame but how to mimic the tendons in the fingers to be able to mimik the motion.

How do engineers evaluate plastic materials and material strength?
This website I will use for figuring out how to test the plastics on my own. The website lays out different ways that engineers test materials and how to quantify these results.
