I'm currently working on a more formal introduction section. The methods section for the Full-Body Illusion is almost fully drafted, but I still need further details on certain specifics.
October 2025
I've begun the process of drafting a potential introduction and methods section for the Full-Body Illusion section of my project. I've been exploring non-FND specific literature for part of the methods section, which is an interesting change after being immersed in FND research for so long.
I also gave a lab meeting to my peers to update them on my data analysis.

I'm now back at school in California and ready to get back to work on my project! I've done some more data analysis since leaving Switzerland, and my mentor and I are currently looking into more pathways for me to continue working on the project remotely.
July 2025
I got the opportunity to join Prof. Aybek's lab, where I was able to help with trials of the study. I was also able to observe clinical consultations and aid in other ongoing experiments. It was fascinating to learn about what other members of the lab were working on and it was so inspiring to be surrounded by such amazing scientists. I started analyzing parts of the preliminary data.

I created this poster to propose a study of interoception and exteroception in FND patients using questionnaires and task-based assessments in comparison to neurologically healthy control subjects. Although this proposal is aligned with my field of study, this is not the direction I'll be taking in my research with Dr. Ducroizet.
