Today is our Online Learning Practice Day. Although you are at home today, you are still required to participate in each of the classes listed below. You will either meet online as a class, or you will be asked to complete an assignment during each class period. See you online! 😀

Good morning! Today you will work on a Cardio Training video. Please do the following:

1. Click on the Google Form (link below), fill out your information, and hit Next

2. Follow the instructions (the video is there as well), fill out the form, and submit.

Go to Reveal Math using your Google account and complete the "Unit Review" under your assignments.

If you are done with the Unit Review, you can play "Digital Station: Soccer Kick-Off (Add and Subtract Fractions)", also linked in your Reveal Math assignments.

Complete as much as you can during this time. If you don't finish, you can come back and work on these tasks when you finish your ELA tasks. Remember to be on time for your next Google Meet at 10:00 with Mrs. Castaneda! 

Students will join Google Meet, and we will complete a Gimkit activity to review concepts we have learned in class.

Word Work

Go to Google Classroom and complete the online word work tasks for your spelling words this week. You will have a spelling test on these words next Tuesday/Wednesday. Please have someone in your family give you a spelling quiz after you complete your online tasks. You can find the words for your spelling group linked here.

ELA

Go to your IXL Dashboard and complete the assigned tasks for our poetry unit.

Click on this "Poetry Writing" link. Please submit at least one typed poem that includes your choice of figurative language from the list below. Some possible topics you can write about are: Spiritual Life Week with Mr. Jake, our Bible topic this week (salvation by faith), Online Learning Day, Spirit Week, and Olympic Day. We will have some time to share your poems when you return to class next week. Have fun writing!
