"As the transition coordinator with Voc. Rehab. I set up Pre-ETS instruction to youth (14-21) with disabilities in several ways:
In-class instruction
Students receive instruction during the school day
Need a signed consent form for students to participate (see attached)
Students who are 18+ can self-sign
If your student has previously submitted a consent form in past years, they do not need to get another one signed
Instruction is given in any Pre-ETS area the teacher requests, at the time that is most convenient for the classroom instructor
Each class is one hour
There are 5 classes per module (Job Exploration/Postsecondary Education, Workplace Readiness, Self-Advocacy, Work-Based Learning Experiences)
Students do not need to be VR clients
After-school instruction
Virtual Job Club, next session starts 1/4
2 sessions, 1 at 3:00 and the other at 4:00 (see attached flyer for full schedule)
Students are split into sessions based on their expressed interests and requested support
Students will need a signed consent form to participate (see attached)
Students do not need to be VR clients
Virtual Winter Camp
