The Elementary Physical Education/Wellness Team hopes this finds you healthy while we all manage this new normal. We realize this is a challenging time for families so your PE Team has created this page for you to make it a little easier to get your child's physical activity in everyday.
It is recommended that elementary age students have 30 to 60 minutes of heart pumping activity a day. Physical activity is very important for promoting growth and development in young children. In addition to its physical benefits, physical activity also helps to establish connections between different parts of the brain, improves concentration, relieves stress, promotes relaxation and improves sleep.
We hope that you find these resources helpful as we continue with remote learning. Your PE team will add new activities for your learner each week. Pick and choose what works best for you and your family.
