Borrow Books: You may borrow books from the library using your student ID. Please return books on time and in good condition. If you lost a library book you borrowed, talk to Ms. Murru about a solution. Click here to search for books in the library's catalog.

Reserve a Quiet Study Room: Study Rooms are available upon request and are first come, first served. Students must check in with Ms. Murru before entering one of the rooms. Students that have group assignments or are looking for a quiet space to work are encouraged to use these rooms. 

Work Independently or in Groups: Students can utilize the Media Center to study, complete work on their own or in groups. 

The high school library/media center is open during school hours on all days that school is open. Students may use the library/media center facilities at the discretion of their teachers when they have reference assignments or required reading. Internet and data base retrieval capabilities are available to all students who have submitted a current internet use contract. No food or drink is allowed in the library/media center. 

• Students in Senior Privilege are expected to sign in when visiting the Media Center and sign out if leaving before the end of a period.

• All students in the Media Center must ask for a pass prior to leaving the Media Center. 

• Books must not leave the media center unless they have been checked out to the student's account. Please visit Ms. Murru at the main desk if you have questions or concerns about items on your account. 

Printing is available to students in the morning, after school and at the beginning of lunch. 

Students should click on "print" or the printer icon for the particular page they wish to print, look for the printer "Media Center" or "HS Media Center." 

Please note, if you do not see the appropriate printer, you will need to share or email a copy to kristiemurru@lyndhurst.k12.nj.us. Stop by the Media Center after school to get your Chromebook connected to the printer.
